The Temple is south of Hartford and east of Meriden, approximately 4.5 miles from I-91, on the corner of Harvest Wood Road and Route 66. It is located in Middlefield, quite close to the Middletown line. The parking lot entrance is on Harvest Wood Road.

From the North:

• Take I-91 South to Exit 17.
• Bear right on exit ramp toward East Main Street.
• Turn left at light onto East Main Street. Note your mileage; the Temple is just over 4.5 miles away.
• East Main Street will become Route 66.
• After a few miles begin watching for the landmarks noted below. The Temple will be on the right

From the South:

• Take I-91 North to Exit 16.
• Turn right at end of ramp onto East Main Street. Note your mileage; the Temple is just under 4.5 miles away..
• Turn left at light onto East Main Street. Note your mileage; the Temple is just over 4.5 miles away.
• East Main Street will become Route 66.
• After a few miles begin watching for the landmarks noted below. The Temple will be on the right

From the West:

• Take I-84 East to I-691 East.
• Note your mileage when you cross over I-91;  the Temple is about 4.5 miles from this point.
• Continue on I-691 East. It will become Rt.66 East.
• East Main Street will become Route 66.
• After a few miles begin watching for the landmarks noted below. The Temple will be on the right

Landmarks eastbound on Route 66 with approximate mileage from I-91:

• 3.9 miles: Agway on right.
• 4.2 miles: Traffic light for Route 217.
• 4.5 miles: Americas Best Value Inn on right, just before the Temple.

Signal for your right turn onto Harvest Wood Road at Americas Best Value Inn; the turn is marked by a yellow intersection sign just past the station.

 

From the Southeast:

• Take Route 9 North to Exit 15 (Middletown, Route 66).
• Take route 66 West approximately 2.8 miles on the left, just past the Middlefield town line.
• See the landmarks noted below.

From the East:

• Follow Route 66 West through Middletown and continue to Middlefield.
• Note your mileage in Middletown when you cross Route 9.
• The Temple is about 2.8 miles ahead on the left, just past the Middlefield town line.
• See the landmarks noted below.

Landmarks westbound on Route 66 with approximate mileage from Route 9:

• 2 miles: Shopping plazas on left and right.
• 2.5 miles: Sagamore Hill Apartments on left.
• 2.7 miles: Middlefield town line.

Signal for your left turn onto Harvest Wood Road at the green sign that marks the Middlefield town line.

From Rt. 2 Norwich

• Turn left at Exit 18 Off Ramp (Colchester) and follow Rt. 16.
• Turn left onto Rt. 66 West and follow directions "From the East:" above.

From Rt. 2 Marlborough

• Take Exit 13 to Rt 66 and follow above directions "From the East:" above.
